First Stage, an extreme sports organisation based in North Wales, wanted to launch their own sustainable clothing line to complement their adventurous offerings — from scuba diving to coasteering. I was asked to create a set of fun, bold illustrations that captured the spirit of the activities they offer. The artwork needed to be print-friendly with a limited colour palette and a strong visual impact.

Each design was drawn by hand using pen and ink, then scanned and digitally coloured in Photoshop — this retained the hand-drawn feel of the original drawings while prepping them for crisp, high-quality printing.
